Final Blog:-)

Hello Fellow Classmates,
For once I am the first one to post my Blog. Just think, at the beginning of the semester I was a newbie to Blogging and now I have at least posted three blogs I can brag about. I am very excited to be finish with my courses and graduating on December 19th. I would like to thank all of you for you feedback with assignments that I posted on the forum. I would also like to thank Dr. Bruhl for all of her assistance with being patient and understanding with me when I had problems and questions. Although, I would have rather have been in a formal classroom setting to meet each and every one of you, it was nice to chat with you online.
The most important thing I learned about learning technologies this semester was how important it is to know the latest technologies available. I have been introduced to blogging, web quests, researching learning management software and the list goes on and on. As I recall reading other classmates comments, I realize that working in the classroom I am some what out of touch with various learning technologies. I take this course as a good learning experience to not only get more familiar with the latest learning technologies but to try to implement it in my classroom more.
Overall, this class was very challenging to me on a lot of levels. The say that "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Today, I am a stronger individual because I took on a online course and made it through. Be Blessed Everyone.

Teacher Helper Technology

Hey Fellow Bloggers,
I was very proud of myself with the first blog, now here I am working on this one. I was completely locked out my blog page because my password I selected did not work anymore. I appreciate technology every day :-).
If I could create a brand new technology it would be for Student Teachers. Although, you get an opportunity to go in the classroom and do observation hours , it somehow does not measure up to what the book tells you. So, I thought of a hand-held palm teacher that will be programmed with various scenarios of what could happen in the classroom.
Here's how it would work. Each student teacher would be issued the palm teacher before they actually did their student teaching. Then, they would be able to go through the various types of scenarios before they were in the classroom. For example, How to handle a 3 yr old aggressive child? The student teacher would then be able to see the child and his/her aggressive behavior. Apply various strategies/techniques. Then, see if it works with the child. This device would allow the student teacher to not only see a wide range of scenarios. They could practice ahead of time and learn from failed and successful attempts of strategies in the classroom.
Now, this palm teacher would in my opinion give the teacher a good "bird's eye view" of what the book can not tell you and it's excellent for the visual learner. Also, it could really let the teacher know what they will be up against. Be Blessed Everyone.

Sincerely,

CeCe

Welcome to CeCe's Creative Blog Page

Greetings Fellow Classmates!
I have been working on my Blog (or shall I call it my Blah, Blah page) for two whole days. I have asked at least 10 people that I know did they know anything about Blogging. The response was negative from everyone. It must be a Blog organization that I need to pledge to, because I am out of the loop with this. The positive note is, I only have two more entries to do in class (YIPEE!)
I do hope this information gets where I want it. If not, as the the "Little Engine that Could" said, "I think I can, I think I can".
If you read this and feel sorry for me and my lack of "Blogging Skills", let me know and send me an encouraging post. Just think we only have less than 100 days of class left. Everyone Be Blessed!

Sincerely,

CeCe
